Wallpaper Removal
The biggest challange confronting homeowners with stripping wallpaper is not how it was hung; but on what wall surface was it hung on.
Interiors walls of fairly new homes often receive sub-standard painting during construction. In particular, the primer and top coats are often thinned. This results in walls being poorly prepared for the application of wallpaper. Now when removing that wallpaper at a later date, inevitably part of the paint will also be removed.
This damaged wall will have to be skimmed coated and properly primed before any new coats of paint can be applied.
